10 stars if I could! By far hands down the best attorney I’ve had. Jay Galmiche Sr. is very professional, genuine, and incredibly responsive! He is well experienced in this field. If he says I’m calling you for a phone meeting at 2:35, your phone is ringing at 2:35. He is realistic and straight up with you about everything and tells you what you can expect. This is probably the second review I have ever given, so bear with me... but Galmiche Law Firm deserves it. So, here is my experience. Sorry for the length. I worked with Jay Galmiche to resolve a child custody situation that was against a particularly nasty person. It involved 2 motions to modify with mediation in between, and it went all the way to trial day lasting 18ish months. Jay's experience in family law is extremely important. He has lived this work for 30+ years and it shows. Be a good person, be honest, and he will guide you through. I am divorced from a person that lies to an extreme, which is incredibly hard to stomach when trying to create the best future for my kids, and Jay was always available to talk with about my options on how to handle each situation when they came (and there were many). His quick response helps put practical legal logistics in play rather than the heavy emotion or anger associated with uncertainty. He knows his business, and he will be clear about what your choices are while letting you know which are worth taking. This process will be expensive. I am not a wealthy man, Galmiche Law Firm understood this, and they were always upfront and clear about costs. This includes whether or not certain legal actions such as filing contempt or obtaining certain subpoenas were best for me. Each step of the process was handled carefully clerically so there were no setbacks. If you are forced to go down this road... good luck. Try to stay calm and rational. All said and done, I have found relief with a good outlook on the future knowing that my kids' lives are now better because of the legal work done. Thank you Galmiche Law Firm.
